IRIS is a modern industry-leading tire brand recognized in the market for its top-of-the-line tires that provide a perfect fusion of quality and price. IRIS tires are fabricated with European technology in strict compliance with international standards. They are distinguished for comfortable ride, enhanced vibration absorption, high rolling resistance, and decreased noise level. What started as local production of around 2 million tires per year for light, commercial, and semi-heavy vehicles grew into a giant manufacturer with an annual production volume totaling 4.5 million tires.
IRIS fabricates its tires in its advanced factory where the company carefully analyzes and manages information flows, applies a thoroughly developed management system and cutting-edge software. All of this allows IRIS to ensure the reliability and traceability of the products. The company cooperates with several foreign technological partners from Germany, Finland, Italy, and the United States aiming to combine technology and expertise. IRIS also endeavors to guarantee the ultimate quality and safety, providing rigorous control of every tire by implementing 320 control points and using the most refined and innovative equipment.
In the expansive company’s inventory, there are tires for city cars, touring cars, vans, and SUVs. Each type is meant to provide the finest performance for your vehicle. For instance, the Ecoris range is designed for small and medium-sized vehicles. These tires ensure low rolling resistance which results in decreased fuel consumption. Sefar tires are meant for executive cars. They provide excellent wear resistance and deliver a smooth ride. Stormy tires that are intended for vans guarantee exceptional handling and control both on dry and wet surfaces. Aures tires for SUVs feature the advanced sculpture that enables safe and comfortable operation whatever the road type and whatever the weather. And the last Lane range for pickup trucks presents tires that sport the robust sidewall ready to handle daily abuse and produce exceptional year-round performance.
There is a lot of information on the sidewall of a tire. Typically, you'll find UTQG ratings for treadwear, traction and temperature, the size of the tire, the load rating index number with a speed rating index, the construction type (bias or radial), the D.O.T. compliance code, and construction details. On some tires used as original equipment, you may also find a marking that indicates its OE status.
