Warranty

Rhino-Rack goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The benefits given to you by Rhino-Rack under this warranty are in addition to your other rights and remedies under a law in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates.

Subject to the conditions of this warranty, Rhino-Rack warrants the following products manufactured by Rhino-Rack will be free from any manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship for the following periods from the date of purchase (each a "Warranty Period"):

Lifetime for roof racks*;
1 year for products made from textile and fabric, locks and electrical components;
3 years for steel (ferrous) products and components;
5 years for all other products.
*Lifetime warranty applies on all Euro, Heavy Duty and Vortex cross bar systems and does not apply to Pioneer and other roof tray products.

Remedies

If a defect appears during the time periods referred to above, Rhino-Rack will, within a reasonable time of being notified of the warranty claim, repair or replace, at Rhino-Rack's option any defective product or defective component without charge for parts or labor.

Conditions and Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to:

any person other than the original retail customer or recipient of the product (in the case of acquisition as a gift or promotion) and it is not transferable.
any defect in materials or workmanship, if: the purchaser examined the product before having agreed to purchase the product and that examination ought reasonably to have revealed the defect; or the defect was specifically drawn to the purchaser's attention before the purchaser agreed to purchase the product;
failures caused by inadequate maintenance or non-compliance to fitting instructions supplied by Rhino-Rack. It is your responsibility to maintain the product adequately. Rhino-Rack recommends that this product be removed from your vehicle for regular cleaning and when not in use for extended periods. Any components subject to normal wear, degradation or consumption through use or exposure to the elements must be inspected periodically and replaced with Rhino-Rack parts as required;
any defects, loss or damage caused by a product being fitted to a non-compatible vehicle, for example, because of the vehicle's shape or build;
any defects, loss or damage caused by conditions beyond Rhino-Rack's control including, but not limited to any cost, loss, misuse, neglect, accidents, attachment of accessories not originating from Rhino-Rack, act of God, overloading beyond recommended capacity or other improper treatment of the product, including incorrect assembly or fitment by the purchaser, retailer or any other third party;
any defects or damage caused by modifications to the vehicle or the product or the user's failure to properly secure cargo as recommended by Rhino-Rack;
any consequential or incidental damage, including but not limited to damage to your vehicle, cargo or to any other person or property.

Looks Great on my Grand Cherokee

Rhino-Rack® RMCB02 - Xtray Roof Cargo Basket

I installed it and added several lights to the rack. The "notches" in the middle really help tuck them away so I'm not worried about them on a trail. I opted to not install the plastic wind deflector on the top and noticed I could remove the top bar in front if needed down the line. Overall very happy with the look and feel if the rack.

Looks Nice but No Accessories Available

Rhino-Rack® - Xtray Roof Cargo Basket

New to roof racks. I thought I could easily buy accessories to attach Jerry cans, shovels etc. Even bought the rhino Jerry can holder, only to find out it will not attach. This cargo basket is exactly that, a basket to throw your stuff in. Very disappointed as I thought Rhino-Rack would have a system for mounting hardware.

Not True to Size

Rhino-Rack® RMCB03 - Xtray Roof Cargo Basket

I like to start on the positives: 1. The rack looks great. 2. It was easy to assemble with only 1 person and with the tools provided. Complaints: 1. The page states that the rack is 58" by 43" by 6". The only part of this measurement that ends up being useful is that the rack is in fact 6 inches tall. The width and length are not true to size for their usable space. The upper bar is about 36" from inside to inside and the lower is about 40". It is only 42" width at the bend in the supporting beam bars. The length overall may be close to 57", but given the shape and the added bike fork connectors the usable space loses about 7 inches total. I bought these to throw my large travel dog crates up to give the dogs more room in the vehicle during our journey (They use the crates to sleep at night and its where they get fed). The crates measure 40.5" long and 27" wide and 8" tall so we should have been able to fit both with inches to spare, but because the measurements are misrepresented they are short about 4-5 inches in all directions. 2. Rack connecting bolts are very long, if you don't have tall risers for your cross bars I recommend looking at getting some rubber caps or replacing the bolts if you don't want your roof scratched to hell under normal load and driving conditions.
