Any driver who likes to cruise with the windows down has experienced the scenario: You’re driving along and suddenly it starts to rain, not a downpour but just enough to get you and the inside of the vehicle wet. If you don’t have rain guards installed on your car or truck and don’t want to get soaked, you have no choice but to put the windows up and turn on the A/C - cooped up by the whim of the weather. But with rain guards fitted to your doors, you can defy the weather and leave the windows down enough to stay dry and still enjoy the fresh air.

Rain guards offer many other benefits as well. They’re also called wind deflectors because they help channel airflow over your vehicle and reduce wind noise when the windows are open, for quiet, comfortable motoring. And on a hot summer day, rain guards let you leave the windows cracked open to reduce the interior temperature, without advertising the fact to potential thieves. Besides finish and style, the other factor to consider when deciding is the method of installation. Rain guards can be installed in the window channel or they can be taped to the body. In-channel rain guards have a thin flange that fits into the door’s upper window channel. Most of these snap into place and rely on tension to stay securely mounted, but some also use tape for adhesion. Stick-on window visors are attached with 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape to the door frame, just above the window channel, and require some test fitting to make sure they’re positioned properly.

Along with rain guards for side windows, we also offer cab guard deflectors for pickup trucks. These deflectors help shield the cabin from the sun’s rays, keeping you cooler and preventing interior fading.
