Fiat is Italy's largest automaker known for designing and manufacturing sporty performance auto parts along with a roster of family-oriented vehicles. An acronym for Societa Anonima Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino, Fiat has been in existence for over a hundred years. The company was founded by Giovanni Agnelli, an Italian entrepreneur, in 1902. Since that time, a member of the Agnelli family has been a part of Fiat, with Giovanni Agnelli's grandson (also named Giovanni Agnelli but referred to as "Gianni") running the company from 1966 to 1996. At the age of 28, great-grandson John Elkann joined Fiat following Gianni Agnelli's death in 2004 is currently the vice chairman of the board of directors.

The first Fiat model was the 4 HP which appeared in 1899, appropriately titled for its two-cylinder engine capable of 4.2 horsepower. A year later, the 6 HP was introduced and was succeeded by the 8 HP in 1901. During the 1920s, the Fiat 520 was its luxury entrant, featuring a V12 engine and available as both a convertible and coupe. Throughout the '30s, Fiat's roster was highlighted by a mix of luxury and economy models, most notably the 2800. World War II put a pause on most of the company's automotive operations but picked up again come the 1950s. It was during this decade when the 500, an economical town car, premiered along with the stylish 1200 Spyder, another one of the brand's more recognizable models. The 60s and 70s showcased even more versatility from the brand with small family cars such as the 126 and 128 still being offered along with sportier models like the X 1/9.

More recently, Fiat has held onto its reputation for mixing sportiness with economy. The Cinquecento ("500") rolled off the line in 1991 as a front-wheel drive compact designed for efficiency. It was replaced in 1998 by the Seicento. The popular subcompact Punto was introduced in 1993 and now in its 3rd generation is referred to as the Grande Punto. A sleek upgrade on the automobile called the Punto Evo debuted in 2009. An exciting development for Fiat came in 2006 with the release of the Sedici, the brand's first compact SUV. The Nuova 500 rolled off the line in 2007 as a retro-shaped subcompact with parts featuring plenty of smooth lines. It is available in England, France, Mexico, and is one of Italy's highest selling cars.

Great Fit and Clear Design to Show Off Factory Carpet
Lloyd® - Rubbertite™ Custom Fit All-Weather Protection Floor Mats
I recently purchased the Lloyd Rubbertite Custom Fit All-Weather Protection Floor Mats and I’m very pleased with the fit and quality. I ordered the clear ones because I wanted to retain the look of my factory carpet colors without covering them up. These mats fit well in my 1986 Toyota Corona Coupe RHD, which shares the same interior as the 1986 Toyota Celica. Although my car wasn’t listed, selecting the Celica option worked perfectly for the most part, with the exception of the driver side, which I’m not entirely sure about as I haven't seen any pictures of these floor mats in a Celica. Overall, these mats provide excellent protection while letting the original carpet colors shine through.
